Created by cartoonist Palmer Cox, the Brownie’s were tiny characters who were involved in pranks and comical occurrences. The Brownie trade cards were used to advertise a wide variety of items, and with the recent popularity of the sport of baseball, they were used with these baseball themed trade cards. This is a complete set of Brownie’s cards, an accomplishment which is difficult to replicate. Includes: Out On Second (SGC AUTH), Judgment! (SGC 10 POOR 1), A Panic-er! (SGC AUTH), Putting On The Curve (SGC Auth) and Taking A Fly (SGC 10 POOR 1). As with the other trade card lots in this auction, putting together a complete set of these scarce trade cards is extremely difficult.
