Catalogued as H804-15A in the American Card Catalog, these cards were another group of trade cards used to advertise products back in the late 1800s. These cards have a funny theme based upon injury, and are known as the “red borders” since the image is surrounded by a red line and white border. All cards have been graded by SGC. Includes: SGC 40 VG 3 – 1 card, An Anxious Moment; SGC 10 POOR 1 – 4 cards w/A Fine Catch, Shoulder High, A Base Hit and Oh, What A Snap!; SGC AUTHENTIC – 4 cards w/Where D’ye Want It?, A Daisy Cutter, A Home Run, A Wild Throw and Not Out. As with the other trade card lots in this auction, putting together a complete set of these scarce trade cards is extremely difficult.
