Offered here is a collection of six Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. baseballs used during Texas Rangers games in 2016 and 2017. The first baseball was used on May 9th, 2016, during the Rangers home game against the Chicago White Sox. Rougned Odor hit this ball, pitched by Nathan Jones, for a triple in the bottom of the eighth inning in this 8-4 White Sox win. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 909500). The second ball was used in the next game in this series, on May 10th. Jimmy Rollins of the White Sox hit this ball for a single against Derek Holland in the top of the first inning of this 13-11 Rangers victory. This was Rollins’ 2,444th hit of his career. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 986915). The third ball in this lot was used on April 20th, 2017, during the Rangers 1-0 home victory against Kansas City. Mike Moustakas of the Royals hit this ball for a single against Andrew Cashner in the first inning. Cashner also pitched this ball to Lorenzo Cain in the next at-bat, with the ball being taken out of play after two balls and a strike to Cain. The fourth ball in this lot was used on April 23rd, 2017, in the final game of the Rangers-Royals series. Eric Hosmer hit this ball for a single in the top of the sixth against Yu Darvish in the Rangers eventual 5-2 victory. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 957885). The fifth ball in this lot was used during the Rangers 5-2 home win over the Padres on May 11th, 2017. Clayton Richard pitched this ball to Rougned Odor, allowing a single, and to Mike Napoli, throwing the first pitch in the dirt, leading to the ball being taken out of play. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 957973). The final baseball in this lot was used during the Rangers game against the White Sox at home on August 17th, 2017. Matt Bush pitched this ball to Yolmer Sanchez, allowing a single, and Tim Anderson, giving up a triple that scored Sanchez, in the top of the seventh. Bush and the Rangers won this game 9-8.
