Offered here are three Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. baseballs used by Colorado Rockies players in 2016 and 2017. The first baseball was used during the Rockies road contest against the Texas Rangers on August 10th, 2016. Nolan Arenado flied out and DJ LaMahieu singled against Rangers starter Martin Perez in the first inning of this 5-4 Texas win. The second baseball in this lot was used on April 13th, 2017, during the Rockies 8-2 road loss to the San Francisco Giants. Madison Bumgarner pitched this baseball to DJ LaMahieu in the sixth inning, surrendering a single, and Nolan Arenado, who fouled the ball out of play. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JC 043111). The final ball in this lot was used during the Rockies 3-2 home loss to Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies. Nola pitched this ball to Arenado in the sixth inning, with Arenado collecting a single, the 751st hit of his career. The next batter, Mark Reynolds, flied out to Odubel Herrera and the ball was subsequently taken out of play. This ball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 857794).
