On August 27th, 1938, Monte Pearson threw the first no-hitter at Yankee Stadium during the second game of a doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians. Pitching on only two days’ rest, Pearson K’d seven and allowed only two baserunners, both on walks. The Oakland, California native recorded 18 consecutive outs to end this game, a 13-0 Yankees romp. Offered here is a ticket stub to Pearson’s historic victory. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded a VG-EX 4 by PSA/DNA (27416892).
