Offered here is a collection of New York Yankees memorabilia and advertising items from the mid-20th century. More than 10 pages of full-color newspaper comics are included in this lot, as well as a selection of New York Yankees-themed newspaper clippings from 1952-53. The collection of newspaper clippings contains a tremendous amount of fascinating content from Mickey Mantle’s early career, including an article which states his plans to “work in a lead mine and await developments in his draft case”. These items are in good condition.
