Presented here is a ticket stub to Game 5 of the 1920 World Series between the Cleveland Indians and Brooklyn Robins at League Park. This was the second game of the series in Cleveland, and it featured Bill Wambsganss’ iconic unassisted triple play, the first in World Series history. Two more firsts occurred in this seminal contest, with Elmer Smith hitting the first ever World Series grand slam and Jim Bagby of Cleveland hitting the first ever World Series homer by a pitcher. Cleveland won the ballgame 8-1 and went on to win the series five games to two.
