Offered here is a collection of 15 homemade boxing scrapbooks dating from the late 1920’s to the early 1930’s. These are heavily-detailed scrapbooks each containing over 100 pages of newspaper clippings and photographs relating to boxing and wrestling news of the era. Seven have a cover from The Arena affixed to the front with images of Don George, Henri DeGlane, Earl Mastro, “Cannonball” Eddie Martin, and others, while six have a cover from The Ring, which feature images of Armand Emanuel, Jim Londos, Mickey Walker, Vittorio Campolo, Pete Sanstol and Max Schmeling. The remaining two are blue Western composition books without any images. This impressive lot contains thousands of pages of boxing and wrestling and these items are in good condition.
