Sain inscribed “First Pitch to Jackie Robinson 4-15-47” and “Final Pitch to Babe Ruth in War Benefit Game July 28-1943” in addition to his signature. This ball comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (G17859). The second ball has been signed on the sweet spot by Tom Lasorda. Lasorda signed this Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball in blue pen. This ball comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (Y67492). The third baseball, an Official American League Gene A. Budig baseball, has been signed by Sparky Anderson on the sweet spot in blue pen. He inscribed “1970-1995 2,194 W – 1834 L” and “#11” in addition to his signature. This ball comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (Z17620).
The fourth ball in this lot, an Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball, has been signed on the sweet spot in blue pen by Pete Rose. This baseball comes with a Steiner Sports hologram. The final baseball, also an Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball, has been signed on the panel to the south of the sweet spot by Mark McGwire. McGwire has signed this baseball in black pen, inscribing “2000” after his signature. This baseball comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (AD84556).
