This Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball was used during the Baltimore Orioles road game against the Texas Rangers on August 20th, 2012. Miguel Gonzalez of the O’s pitched this ball to Ian Kinsler in the bottom of the first, with Kinsler sending it back into left field for a double. This was the 210th double and 956th hit of Kinsler’s career. Kinsler, a 2012 All-Star, finished the game 1-2 with two walks and an RBI. The Rangers won 5-1. Kinsler has signed the sweet spot of this baseball in blue pen, inscribing “Hit #956 / 2B #210” on the panel to the north of the sweet spot. This baseball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (EK 229372) for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (F06080) for the signature.
