Manfred Jr. baseball was hit by Victor Martinez in the bottom of the ninth inning of the Detroit Tigers 7-5 home loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on August 10th, 2017. Before Martinez came to bat, Nicholas Castellanos hit this ball for a single against Juan Nicasio. After this at-bat, Felipe Rivero entered the game to face Martinez, who lined an RBI double to left field. This was the 402nd double of Martinez’s career. Martinez has signed the sweet spot of this baseball in blue pen, adding the inscription “402nd Career Double” after his signature. This baseball comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 898042).
