As the most promising rookie in Expos history, Vlad burst into the National League in 1997 by hitting .302 with 11 home runs in 325 at-bats. It was the start of a long career that would see him win the AL MVP Award in 2004 and see action in nine All-Star Games. The Louisville Slugger M110 dates from Guerrero’s earliest seasons and shows good game use with many white leather ball and stitch marks on the barrel. Bat rack paint streaks and storage scuffs can be seen along with cleat imprints. Guererro’s number 27 is written in silver ink on the knob end.
