A four-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, Jack Clark was the perfect baseball ambassador to represent the National League when MLB sent a team to tour Japan in 1979. This custom Louisville Slugger bat is specially engraved “NATIONAL LEAGUE JAPAN - 1979” on the barrel with Clark’s facsimile signature. Because this was a unique model bat, no model number was engraved at the factory. The bat appears unused but has rack streaks and storage marks on the barrel. Clark has signed the barrel in silver ink and added his nickname “The Ripper”. A letter from Clark accompanies the bat attesting to its game use. Two PSA/DNA numbered stickers (U28105 and 1B05361) are affixed to the knob end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
