Game-used bat from the young Cardinals’ outfielder whose timely hitting in the 10th inning of Game 6 helped the Cards gain the edge in the 2011 World Series. The Louisville Slugger C339 bat handle is coated with pine tar and cracked. Impressions from a weighted donut can be seen along with many ball scuffs, stitch impressions and paint streaks from bat racks. Jay’s number “15” has been written in black marker on both ends of the bat. Adhesive tape has been applied to that knob for better grip. Jay has signed the barrel in blue Sharpie and added his number “15”. A hologram sticker from the Pujols Family Foundation is affixed to the barrel. Letter of Authenticity from the Pujols Family Foundation.
