Offered in this lot are two hardcover books featuring the greatest pitchers and catchers of all time. The first book is a hardcover copy of The Greatest Pitchers of All Time by Donald Honig has been signed by 11 Hall of Fame hurlers. The signatures include Bob Feller, Bob Gibson, Fergie Jenkins, Gaylord Perry, Jim Palmer, Juan Marichal, Randy Johnson, Robin Roberts, Steve Carlton, Tom Seaver, and Whitey Ford. The signatures have been written in blue marker with the exception of Jenkins, who signed in black marker. This book comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AE09040) and a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 614577) that covers Robin Roberts’ signature.
The second book in this lot is a hardcover copy of The Greatest Catchers of All Time by Donald Honig has been signed by a triumvirate of Hall of Fame backstops. Gary Carter, Carlton Fisk, and Johnny Bench have all signed the cover page of this book in blue pen. This book comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AE09039).
