Offered here is a sterling silver plate from the USS Pennsylvania. “Wardroom Officers / USS Pennsylvania / October -24- 1942” is etched on the surface of the plate, which measures approximately 10.5 inches in diameter. “By Towles” is etched on the back of this ornate plate. The Pennsylvania was heavily involved in World War II and was docked at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack in 1941. This plate was produced less than a year after the attack on Pearl Harbor and is in great condition.
