This diecast model of the Enola Gay airplane has been signed by Morris Jeppson and Dutch Van Kirk, the weapon test officer and navigator on the Enola Gay for the atomic bomb raids. Jeppson has signed the port wing of this airplane in black marker, inscribing “Enola Gay 6 Aug 1945” and “Weapon Test Officer”. Van Kirk has signed the starboard wing in blue marker, inscribing “Navigator Enola Gay” and “We Won WWII”. This plane measures approximately six inches from nose to tail and eight inches from wing to wing. This item has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication Services.
