Presented here is a roll sheet from a meeting of the Veteran’s Committee of the National Baseball Hall of Fame on March 10th, 1983 – the meeting that elected George Kell and Walter Alston to the Hall of Fame. This sheet has been signed by 19 members of the Veteran’s Committee, including the Hall of Famers Stan Musial, Burleigh Grimes, Al Lopez, Monte Irvin, and Charlie Gehringer. The remaining signatures include Buzzie Bavasi, Birdie Tebbetts, Buck O’Neil, Gabe Paul, Allen Lewis, Joe L. Brown, Joe Reichler, Bob Broeg, Milton Richman, and several others. “By Birdie Tebbets / 1983” is written in the upper righthand corner of this sheet. The signatures have been written in black and blue pen. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
