Len Barker has signed and heavily inscribed this Official Major Allan H. Selig “Story” baseball. Barker signed the sweet spot in blue pen, inscribing “P.G. 5-15-81” below his signature. Across all four panels of this baseball Barker inscribed “It was Friday May 15th 1981. We played the Blue Jays. I arrived late to the ballpark because I picked up my brother at the airport. The weather was cold and drizzly. The game started. I was throwing the ball really good. Great control of fastball and curve. After first 4 innings I only had 1 strikeout. Next 17 batters I faced strikeout 11 out of 17. Toby Harrah [and] Rick Manning came up to me and said we know you can do it. The rest is history. 10th Perfect Game in MLB history”.
