Offered here is a collection of six cuts, photographs, and a book signed by members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The first item in this lot is a hardcover copy of the book Casey at the Bat signed on the cover by Casey Stengel in black pen. Also included in this lot are two 8 x 10 inch photographs individually signed by Dizzy Dean (in blue pen) and Willie Stargell (in black marker). Stargell inscribed “Best Wishes” above his signature. The next two items in this lot are cuts signed by Charles “Kid” Nichols and Emmett Ashford, the first black umpire in the Major Leagues. Each has signed their cut in blue pen. Finally, a 9.5 x 7.5 inch photograph signed by Bucky Harris in black marker is included. The Harris photo is framed to the dimensions of 13 x 16 inches. The Stargell and Ashford signatures come with a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (F06051 and F06052) while the remaining items are accompanied by LOAs from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
