All Time Home Run king Barry Bonds joined the San Francisco Giants before the 1993 season. Around the same time, this helmet was manufactured for the Giants, and was eventually used by Bonds during his inaugural season in the Bay area. All Bonds did was hit .336, bang out 46 home runs and drive in 123 runs leading the Giants to 103 wins. Barry was named the National League MVP, his third such achievement. The 7 1/8 single flapped helmet shows extensive game use with multiple scratches, abrasions and remnants of pine tar. The brim was signed “Barry Bonds” (Grades “6”) in silver sharpie, and also has the “Bonds 25” hologram sticker. The back has “BONDS” on black tape with raised lettering, plus the MLB logo and “ABC” manufacturing stickers. All interior padding is original and appears unaltered. This item comes with a COA from Barry Bonds 25 Authenticated, and a signature LOA from James Spence Authentication.
