Historical bat from one of the 1960’s most feared power hitters. Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew used this bat during the 1969-1972 time frame in which the Minnesota Twin hit a staggering 144 home runs. The Hillerich & Bradsby model S207 bat shows tremendous use and a handle crack has been repaired. Pine tar coats the handle. There is some grain checking which has also been repaired and many stitch and ball marks cover this Hall of Famer’s bat. Killebrew’s number “3” and bat weight written in black marker is still visible on the knob end. Killebrew has added his signature in black marker between the “Powerized” logo and his engraved name. He has also added “573 HR’s HOF ‘84” beneath his signature. A beautiful piece of lumber used by one of the game’s greatest sluggers in his prime, possibly during his 1969 MVP season when he blasted 49 home runs and drove in 140 runs. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10.
