Great game-ready bat from Pete Rose’s pre-Big Red Machine years. The Adirondack 113X bat dates from the 1968 season in which he began the season with a 22 game hitting streak and finished with a .335 average to take the National League batting title. The bat shows no signs of use and has been re-coated with a urethane finish. Rose’s famous number “14” has been inked in black marker on the knob end over the stamped manufacturer specs. The weight has been written in pencil as well. A flawless piece of memorabilia from Charlie Hustle’s early years in Cincinnati. LOA from PSA/DNA.
