The 1977 New York Yankees, managed by Billy Martin, finished the regular season with a record of 100-62. They won the World Series in six games against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The deciding game featured Reggie Jackson’s heroic three home run effort. Twenty-four members of the team signed in blue ballpoint pen this official Rawlings American League Lee MacPhail Baseball including backstop Thurman Munson. Other notable signatures include Yogi Berra (coach), Ron Guidry and Sparky Lyle. Note: Signatures of Reggie Jackson and Billy Martin appear to be clubhouse versions.
