Ticket stub from Thurman Munson's first career game. In this August 8, 1969 game at Yankee Stadium vs. the Oakland Athletics, Munson recorded his first 2 career hits, and drove in two runs in the Yankees 5-0 victory. Munson would go on to become a 7-time all-star, and 2-time World Series champion before losing his life in a fatal plane crash at the age of 32 in 1979.
