The 1986 NBA All-Star Game was a riotous affair at Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas. The Western Conference, coached by Pat Riley, started three Los Angeles Lakers stars in Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, and Magic Johnson, alongside Alvin Robertson and Ralph Sampson. Abdul-Jabbar led the Western Conference with 21 points, as well as 7 boards and two apiece of blocks, steals, and assists, although the West fell by a score of 139-132 against a strong Eastern Conference squad.

Offered here is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s personally owned and used equipment bag from the 36th Annual NBA All-Star Game in 1986. The bag is blue and red, with “36th Annual NBA All-Star Game Reunion Arena Dallas, Texas February 9, 1986” printed on the bag in white text. A Converse logo is printed on each end of the bag. This item comes with a LOA signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
