Mickey Mantle was, quite simply, one of the best baseball players of his generation and one of the greatest members ever of the New York Yankees organization. A rookie in 1951, Mantle would play 18 seasons with the Bronx Bombers and finish his Hall of Fame career in 1968 with 536 home runs, 1,509 runs batted in, and a career batting average of .298. He slugged his way through an incredible career and is now a legend. What better way to remember a batting legend than this post career offering. This Hillerich & Bradsby K55 model Mickey Mantle baseball bat hails from his post career days c. 1977-79, most likely for an old-timers game. Although the 35 inch 30.7 oz lumber shows moderate use, the use cannot be determined as by Mantle, yet does display use on both sides. A cheaper variation of what is typically unobtainable on a budget! This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B08261).
