Garret Anderson changed leagues and teams in 2009, taking his big bat to Atlanta for a one-year stint. With his new team, Anderson reached a career milestone only 88 other players in history had before – 2,500 career hits. Anderson used this bat during his single season with the Braves. The Marucci Anderson 16 Cut-A model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. Several ball marks with stitch impressions are visible on the barrel along with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. There are cleat imprints on the barrel and the handle has been taped in a crisscross pattern to enhance the grip. The date of manufacture “2/23/09”, Anderson number “18”, length “4.5” and weight “3.0” are stamped into the knob. The bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (I02197) for the game use.
