During the 1990 National Football League season, no team was as explosive as the Buffalo Bills. Behind an offense that led the league in scoring, the Bills stormed to a 13-3 regular season mark, winning the AFC East. Quarterback Jim Kelly, running back Thurman Thomas and wide receiver Andre Reed all made the Pro Bowl, with Thomas (1,297 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns) named First-Team All-Pro. At 34 years of age, receiver James Lofton averaged 20.3 yards per reception. On the defensive side of the ball, Bruce Smith was dominant, recording 19 sacks. Buffalo’s offensive firepower was on full display in the playoffs, first in a 44-34 win over the Miami Dolphins, followed by a 51-3 throttling of the Los Angeles Raiders in the AFC Championship. Ultimately, the Bills would fall short to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXV.

Presented here is a Jostens 10K gold 1990 Buffalo Bills AFC Championship Ring, featuring a 35-point diamond set on a larger colored stone. “BUFFALO BILLS 1990 A.F.C. CHAMPIONS” reads around the outer perimeter. An image of a Bills team helmet centers one shank, with the name “LERNER” above it. Below the helmet is “15-4” (the team’s overall record) and “CPA”. The other shank shows “1990” above the Super Bowl XXV logo. Inside the band of this approximate size 11 ring is marked “© JOSTENS 10K”.  Approximate weight of this item is 40.5 grams. This item comes with a Jostens ring box and replacement letter from the Buffalo Bills together with Jostens ring box labels.
