Offered here is an incredible Official American League William Harridge baseball featuring the signatures of two of baseball’s most iconic early 20th century stars – Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. As customary with any Ruth and Gehrig signed baseballs, Ruth signed his distinctive signature across the sweet spot in blue steel-tipped fountain pen. Gehrig signed his name on the Reach panel directly to the right of Ruth’s signature in blue pen. Gehrig’s signature runs perpendicular to that of Ruth’s. There are three additional signatures on the panel to the west of Ruth’s signature, but they are not legible. The ball itself displays toning and age wear. Ruth and Gehrig’s signatures are light, but clear. This baseball comes with a LOA from JSA (B23474).
