The Hall of Famer Jimmie Foxx has signed and inscribed this 3.5 x 5.5 inch postcard. Foxx was the second member of the 500 home run club and one of the most dangerous power hitters of his era. A star for the Philadelphia A’s and Boston Red Sox, Foxx won three American League MVP trophies, the 1933 AL Triple Crown, and hit for a .325 career batting average. Foxx made nine All-Star teams and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951.
Foxx has signed this postcard is slightly faded black pen. He signed “Sincerely Jimmie Foxx” with an additional, slightly faded inscription above. This postcard shows Foxx in his Philadelphia Athletics home uniform. There are several small tape marks on the front of this postcard. This item has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (84112723).
