An usher at the legendary Notre Dame Stadium wore this cap circa 1940’s-50’s. The home of the Fighting Irish is among the most historic football stadiums in the world, opening in 1930 and hosting one of the most formidable football teams of the 20th century. This usher’s cap has a brass button on the front etched with “Notre Dame 576”. The size “7 ¼” is noted on the inside of the cap. A slightly weathered brown sweatband rings the interior of the hat. This item is in good condition and is a thrilling artifact from the history of Notre Dame.
