The Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza wore this pair of Asics cleats during the 1998 and 1999 seasons. Piazza hit 427 during his 16-season career, including 220 homers with the New York Mets. The Pennsylvania native finished his career with a sterling .308 batting average and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016.
These Asics cleats are high-tops, with a white Asics logo sewn on each side of the shoes. Piazza’s number “31” and “GEL” are embroidered on the back of each cleat in white. Seven metal spikes are present on the sole of each cleat. “Asics” and an Asics logo are embroidered on each tongue. These cleats display excellent use and come with a LOA from JT Sports.
