The Mets eventually lost the World Series to their cross-town rivals, the New York Yankees, in five games. A total of 30 members of the team including Manager Bobby Valentine, whose signature adorns the Sweet Spot, signed in black ink this official MLB 2000 World Series logoed Rawlings baseball. Other notable signatures include Edgardo Alfonso, John Franco, Timo Perez, Mookie Wilson, Robin Ventura and Todd Zeile. The item is authenticated with a LOA from PSA/DNA (Certification # S12075).
