Regarded as one of the fastest players in the game, Gardner had an injury shortened 2012 season, the year this bat was used by him. The uncracked Louisville Slugger model O69 shows heavy game use with slight grain swelling on the barrel and many white leather ball scuffs, stitch impressions and blue ink transfers. The upper handle has a moderate coat of pine tar. Gardner has signed the bat’s barrel in silver ink adding “GAME USED”.
