Gary Sheffield Model bat ordered during 1996. This was a momentous year for the Marlin third baseman for by the time the season ended “Shef” had batted .314, slammed 42 home runs, led the National League in on base percentage, made the All-Star team and took home the Silver Slugger award. This bat is in perfect uncracked condition and has Sheffield’s number “10” written in black marker on the knob end. Sheffield has signed the bat’s barrel in black Sharpie and added his number “10”.
