A sharp-looking bat from one of Cabrera’s best seasons. The Tiger star won the AL batting title with a .344 average and led the league in on-base percentage and doubles. It was his eighth straight 100 RBIs season and the fifth straight season he posted 30 home runs. This SAM MC1 bat shows excellent use and is uncracked. Several ball and stitch marks can be seen on the barrel. Blue ink transfers and cleat impressions are also present. A light coat of Mota Stick is on the upper barrel and handle which has the mandatory MLB mark identifying the face grain. The bat length (34) weight (32), date (10 19 11) model (MC1) and order number (2118) are written on the barrel end in black marker. Cabrera’s number “24” and Tigers weight code “II” are written on both ends of the bat in black marker. PSA/DNA sticker number 1B05356 is affixed to the knob end. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have given this bat a grade of GU 8.5.
