Offered here is a Type I photograph of Babe Ruth taken in 1935. Ruth played his final season of pro ball in 1935, joining the Boston Braves for a 28-game cameo after spending the previous 15 years as the leading man for the New York Yankees. This photograph shows Ruth in a large overcoat and the type of hat a bandleader would wear while holding a small baton in his hands. The photograph measures 7 x 9 inches and features Associated Press stamping on the back. This photograph comes with a Type I LOA from PSA/DNA (1P10470).
