Super Bowl III MVP and 1985 NFL Hall of Fame Inductee Joe Namath has autographed this pair of New York Jets full size replica helmets. Namath was the first overall pick in the 1965 AFL draft and went on to be named the 1965 AFL Rookie of the Year. In 1967 he became the first professional quarterback to throw for 4,000 yards in a 14 game season. The following year, 1968, Joe was awarded the Hickok Belt as the top professional athlete of the year. He started 1969 off with a bang as well. Leading his underdog New York Jets to a 16-7 victory over the NFL’s heavily favored Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III. A victory which he boldly “Guaranteed” three days earlier. Each of these two helmets is boldly signed in black paint pen and come pre-certified by PSA/DNA and are affixed with a Joe Namath signature authentication hologram.
