On September 16, 1993 Dave Winfield hit a single off Dennis Eckersley, earning him membership in the exclusive 3,000 Hit Club. To date only 28 players in history have had the combined talent and longevity to reach that exalted number. To commemorate the historical event, the Cooper Bat Company made 1,000 limited edition bats which Winfield signed. This is number 121 and Winfield signed his name in silver ink above the special graphics created for this special bat, a unique piece commemorating the crowning achievement to Winfield’s Hall of Fame career.
