No other franchise in baseball history can even come close to the 27 World Series Championships the New York Yankees have won. The St. Louis Cardinals are a distant second with 11 WS titles. One of the Official Major League baseballs in this lot has signed and inscribed by (7) former New York Yankee World Series Most Valuable Players. Each player has added the notation with the year that they were honored along with "WS MVP". The seven signers are Don Larsen (1956), Bob Turley (1958), Bobby Richardson (1960), Whitey Ford (1961), Ralph Terry (1962), Buckey Dent (1978) and John Wetteland (1996). One small brown spot is present on the panel with Bucky Dent, otherwise the ball is snow white with perfect blue ballpoint signatures. Second ball is also an Official Major League ball signed and inscribed by the 3 New York Yankee pitchers that threw perfect games while wearing the famous Yankee pinstripes. They are David Cone, Don Larsen and David Wells. All three have added the date of the game along with "PG" for Perfect Game. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
