During the heat of the 2010 pennant race, Torres underwent emergency appendicitis surgery. Showing his dedication to the team, he miraculously recovered in time to help the Giants sweep through the NL playoffs to the World Series. The playoff-used glossy bone white Max AS12 bat shows only light use with some ball scuffs and ink transfers. Several cleat imprints and bat rack paint streaks can be seen on the barrel. Torres has signed the barrel between the Max logo and model number in black marker adding his number “56” and “2010 Playoffs Game Used”. PSA/DNA numbered sticker 1B05369 is affixed to the knob end.
