2011, the year this bat dates from, was all Ryan Braun. The Brewers’ left fielder garnered the most votes in All-Star voting that season and went on to lead the NL in slugging and extra base hits. He became only the second Brewers player to make the 30 Home Run-30 Stolen Bases Club and the first in the history of the franchise to have three 100-run, 100-RBI seasons. Besides being an offensive juggernaut, Braun had the best fielding percentage in both leagues at his position and was voted the National League MVP. The Sam S2 model bat shows light use with a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. His number “8” is written in black marker on the knob end and the model, weight and length specs are written in the cupped barrel end.
