Graded MINT 9 by PSA. Hall of Famer. Among more than 1,500 copies recorded in PSA’s census reporting, just two examples have been graded higher. This is a pristine example of the popular 1963 Fleer card of Willie Mays. Fairly difficult in any case, and always tough to find in high grade, the offered card is notably well-centered and displays magnificent corners. Its image of Mays is crisply rendered and projects fabulously, especially in comparison to the overwhelming majority of its less-brilliant contemporaries. The green-and-white reverse also presents impeccable print quality. A true pack-fresh specimen of a key card from that widely collected, one-year-only issue. Splendid Mint condition.
