Offered here is a baseball signed by 28 members of the 1954 New York Yankees. The Yankees won 103 games in 1954, finishing second in the American League behind the Cleveland Indians. Yogi Berra was named the American League MVP after putting up a Triple Crown slash of .307/22/125 for the first of his two straight AL MVP honors. Berra’s fellow Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle has signed the sweet spot of this baseball, while other Hall of Fame signatures include Berra, Whitey Ford, Phil Rizzuto, and Enos Slaughter. The remaining signatures include Joe Collins, Allie Reynolds, Jerry Coleman, Ralph Houk, Moose Skowron, Bob Grim, Tom Gorman, Bob Kuzava, Hank Bauer, Bobby Brown, Harry Byrd, Andy Carey, Frank Leja, Ed Lopat, Jim McDonald, Gil McDougald, Wally Miranda, Tom Morgan, Irv Noren, Eddie Robinson, Johnny Sain, and Charlie Silvera. The signatures have been written in blue pen. This baseball comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AE05625).
