Although Mike Tyson, in the full-length movie/biography Tyson, referred to $20 million to $30 million as “some small amount of money,” the law offices of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson of San Antonio, Texas felt $165.20 worth of unpaid parking tickets also warranted Mike Tyson’s attention. This two page ‘Delinquency Notice’ was sent to Mike Tyson on October 3, 2011 at his residence in Las Vegas. The notice, in both English and Spanish, references two unpaid parking citations of $82.60 each and states additional collection efforts will be taken if the debt is not paid. While certainly not the millions of dollars Tyson was used to being involved with during his boxing career, this document provides evidence that not even one-time enormously high net worth individuals are immune to collection efforts for unpaid parking tickets. Originally obtained through a member of ‘Team Tyson.'
