Perhaps the greatest second baseman of all-time, Detroit’s Charlie Gehringer was known as “The Mechanical Man” for his quiet, methodical way of bringing defeat onto opposing teams. A shoe-in for the Hall of Fame, Gehringer has signed this commemorative bat in his perfectly rendered script. The Rawlings Adirondack bat carries the special Hall of Fame logo on the barrel and “The Mechanical Man,” has signed the bat in that measured, neat script in blue marker.
