Super Bowl III is one of the most important and thrilling football games in the history of the sport, with the brash New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath backing up his pre-game guarantee of victory over the heavily favored Baltimore Colts. Namath outdueled the Colts quarterback duo of Earl Morrall and legend Johnny Unitas at the Orange Bowl, throwing for more yards than his Colts counterparts while playing interception-free football in the Jets 16-7 victory. This offered Super Bowl III program has been signed by the Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi, as well as the New York Giants head coach and former Philadelphia Eagles two-way player Allie Sherman. Other signatures include Florida Governor Claude Kirk and New York Jets owner Sonny Werblin. Sherman, Lombardi, and Werblin have signed the front cover, while Kirk’s signature appears on page 12.
