The 1928 New York Yankees were one of baseball’s best teams ever. They finished the regular season with a 101-53 record before sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. This official 1928 era American League Ernest S. Barnard baseball, complete with red/blue stitching, was signed in black fountain ink by 20 members of the team including the incomparable Babe Ruth on the Sweet Spot.
