After winning the 1980 National League MVP Award, Mike Schmidt roared into 1981
posting what was shaping up to be his greatest year. Unfortunately, the
player’s strike took an almost 2 month chunk out of the season.
None-the-less, Schmitty led the National League in no less than 10
offensive categories and winning an unbelievable second consecutive NL
MVP Award. This unused Adirondack Mike Schmidt model bat is specially
marked “1981 MVP NATIONAL LEAGUE” and signed by Schmidt in bold black
marker. PSA/DNA numbered sticker U28104 is affixed to the knob end.
